Removable Steering Knob (Quick Release)
The Removable Steering Knob is composed of two primary components:
A Base – Which is mounted on the steering wheel
The Knob – Which is assembled onto the base and can be
easily removed
As far as the disabled driver is concerned, the standard knob and removable knob are identical. However, there are ordinary drivers who prefer to drive without presence of a knob that interferes with their driving. It is precisely for this reason that removable knobs have been developed. By opening the lock,or pressung the release button, the knob may be removed from the base which is mounted on the wheel. This base remains mounted on the steering wheel at all times, but does not interfere with ordinary driving in any way.
